Stock Market Opening: The sentiment of investors in the domestic stock market today is not very encouraging. The NSE Nifty started almost flat, but as soon as the market opened, it slipped into the red mark.

Stock Market Opening: In the beginning of the Indian stock market today, sluggish business is being seen and there is no boom in Sensex-Nifty. Sensex is down 55 points and Nifty is showing almost flat opening. Nifty barely started in the green mark, but as soon as the market opened, it slipped down into the red mark.

How was the opening of the market

Today on Monday, mixed business is being seen in the market. With a slight decline in the Sensex, the Nifty has seen an almost flat opening. In today’s trade, the BSE’s 30-share index Sensex opened at a level of 66,629.14 with a fall of 55.12 points. On the other hand, NSE’s 50-share index Nifty opened at 19,748.45 with a slight gain of 3.45 points.

How is the picture of Sensex and Nifty stocks

Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 14 stocks are trading in the green mark and 16 stocks are declining. On the other hand, 26 out of 50 stocks of Nifty are trading with an increase and trading is being seen strongly in 24 stocks.

What is the condition of sectoral index?

Mixed business is also being seen in all the 12 sectoral indices. The maximum decline of 0.76 per cent is being seen in Oil and Gas shares and 0.65 per cent decline is in Consumer Durables shares. Metal shares are seeing a decline of 0.23 percent and 0.18 percent in pharma shares. Nifty Bank, FMCG and Healthcare index continues to decline. Among the rising sectors, the realty sector is up 0.86 per cent and auto is showing a weakness of 0.29 per cent. IT shares are trading with a weakness of 0.25 per cent.

M&M, L&T, ITC, IndusInd Bank, Tata Motors and TCS are the top gainers today and apart from these, Infosys, Wipro, SBI, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, UltraTech Cement, HCL Tech, Bajaj Finance, NTPC, Maruti, ICICI Bank, Powergrid are also trading strongly.

How was the market in pre-open

In the pre-opening, business was being seen with a boom in the market. BSE’s Sensex was trading at the level of 66814.96 with a gain of 130.70 points i.e. 0.20 per cent. Apart from this, the Nifty of NSE was trading at the level of 19768.20, up by 23.20 points or 0.12 per cent.
