Stock Market: Not much movement is being seen in the stock market today and the stock market has been able to show a flat opening with a mixed move. The effect of some results that came in the stock market yesterday can be seen on their shares today. Initially Nifty IT opened lower and Bank Nifty also appeared flat.

At the beginning of today’s trading, the BSE Sensex opened at 59,745 with a slight gain of 18.88 points. Apart from this, the Nifty of NSE opened at 17,653 with a slight decline of 6.80 points.

How is Sensex and Nifty doing?

Only 9 out of 50 Sensex stocks are trading fast today and 21 stocks are registering a decline. Apart from this, 15 out of 50 stocks of Nifty are trading strongly. At the same time, trade is being seen with a decline in 35 stocks.

Where can the eyes stay

Today oil and gas can remain in focus as the government has made changes on the windfall tax front and its effect can be seen on petroleum stocks. The stock of Tata Coffee may also remain volatile today as its profit has increased by 19.7 per cent in yesterday’s results, but the pressure on the margin remains, the effect of which can be seen on the stock.

Which index of Nifty is in motion

Financial Services, FMCG, IT, Media, Healthcare and Oil & Gas are trading with a fall in the index. The maximum decline of 0.7 per cent is seen in IT stocks and FMCG stocks are down 0.46 per cent. Among the rising stocks, metal stocks are trading with a strength of about 1 per cent. Consumer durables are registering a gain of 0.57 per cent and PSU bank stocks by 0.48 per cent.
