Stock Market Closing On 29 August 2023: This week, for the second consecutive trading session, the Indian stock market has seen a boom. Strong buying has been seen in mid cap and small cap stocks in today’s session as well. The Sensex has again been successful in crossing the 65,000 mark. At the end of today’s trading, the BSE Sensex closed at 65,076 with a gain of 80 points and the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty closed at 19,342 points with a jump of 37 points.
Condition of the sector
In today’s session, buying was seen in stocks of Auto, IT, Metals, Real Estate Media, Energy Commodity, Consumer Durables, Oil and Gas sectors. While there has been a decline in Healthcare, FMCG, Pharma stocks. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 21 closed with gains and 9 closed with losses. Whereas, out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 38 stocks closed with a boom and 12 stocks fell.

Rise in investor wealth
After the boom in the stock market, there has been a boom in the wealth of investors. The market capitalization of companies listed on BSE has increased to Rs 309.04 lakh crore. Which was Rs 307.89 lakh crore in the last session. In today’s trade, a jump of Rs 1.15 lakh crore crore has been seen in the wealth of the investors.
Bullish stocks
In today’s trade, Tata Steel 1.66%, Tech Mahindra 1.60%, NTPC 1.21%, JSW Steel 1.15%, Power Grid 1.09%, HCL Tech 1.05%, UltraTech Cement 1.05%, HDFC Bank 0.90%, Tata Motors 0.88%, Titan Company It closed with a gain of 0.88 per cent. While Bharti Airtel closed with a decline of 1.75 per cent, HUL 1.06 per cent, Axis Bank 0.96 per cent, Reliance 0.91 per cent, Sun Pharma 0.45 per cent, Kotak Mahindra 0.42 per cent.
