Share Market Update: Nifty gained more than 100 points in today’s trade and Nifty is just a short distance away from 18000 mark.
Stock Market Closing On 27th April 2023: On the day of expiry of the month of April, the Indian stock market has closed with great speed. For the fourth consecutive day this week, buying from investors was seen in the Indian stock market. At the close of trading, the BSE Sensex closed at 60,649 with a gain of 348 points, while the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty closed at 17,915 points with a gain of 101 points. Nifty is just a few feet away from crossing the 18,000 mark.
Condition of the sector
In today’s business, except the FMCG sector, there was a rise in the shares of all other sectors. Banking, Auto, IT, Pharma, Metals, Infra, Energy, Consumer Durables, Healthcare, Oil and Gas sector stocks closed with a decent pace. Buying was also seen in mid cap and small cap stocks. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 23 closed with gains and 7 closed with losses. Whereas, out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 40 stocks closed up and 10 closed down.

Falling stocks
In today’s trade, Bajaj Finance closed with a gain of 2.39 per cent, Bajaj Finserv 1.90 per cent, Bharti Airtel 1.62 per cent, Infosys 1.55 per cent, Kotak Mahindra 1.37 per cent, ITC 0.89 per cent, Mahindra & Mahindra 0.82 per cent. While HUL closed down by 1.46 per cent, Power Grid by 1.13 per cent, Axis Bank by 0.76 per cent.
Big jump in investors’ wealth
Due to the spectacular boom in the stock market, there has been a tremendous jump in the wealth of the stock market investors in the Thursday session. The market capitalization of the company listed on BSE has increased to Rs 269.07 lakh crore, which stood at Rs 267.71 lakh crore on Wednesday. In today’s session, there has been a jump of Rs 1.36 lakh crore in the wealth of investors.
