Google Pay UPI Lite: In an effort to make transactions easier and faster, digital payments platform Google Pay has launched a new UPI PIN-free ‘Lite’ feature.
This new payment option will allow users to add Rs 2,000 twice in 24 hours and a maximum of Rs 4,000 for instant transactions up to Rs 200 in one click.

As per the information, the UPI Lite facility does not depend on real-time bank transactions. This means that even if the linked bank’s server is down, the user will still be able to transact at any time of the day. User is not required to enter UPI PIN every time for every transaction. Same. How to use UPI Lite
- To use UPI Lite, Google Pay application has to be opened on the mobile.
- Click on the profile picture in the top right corner.
- Select the UPI Lite option in the Payment method section.
- Select the bank account you want to link with UPI Lite.
- Enter the amount (up to Rs.2,000) to add to the UPI Lite wallet.
- Enter the UPI PIN to authenticate the top-up.
- This way you can start using UPI Lite.
Can use only one account
It is important for the user to note that only one UPI Lite account is required on Google Pay. Wherein, if a user has multiple bank accounts linked with UPI, he can use only one of them for UPI Lite.
