Gaslight is a classic psychological thriller directed by Pawan Kriplani. At the very beginning of the story, it is understood that a murder has taken place. The story takes us to Mayagarh Mahal, the mansion of Ratan Singh Gaikwad, where a home video clip is shown celebrating the birthday of his daughter Mishri aka Misha. Misha’s mother dies in a horrific accident. Years later, wheelchair-bound Misha (Sara Ali Khan) returns home to reconcile with her father, with whom she has a strained relationship.

When she comes home, she is welcomed home by her stepmother Rukmini (Chitrangada Singh) and the rest of the household, but her father Ratan Singh Gaikwad is not present. experiences events. Attempts are made to frame Sara with false allegations, fabricated stories and fabricated scenes. Due to which Sara gets upset.

Kapil, the estate manager of Ratan Singh Gaikwad, is played by Vikrant Massey. On the other hand, Chitrangada Singh has worked hard to fit into the character of Rukmini. Both are plotting. Akshay Oberoi brilliantly played the role of Rana Jai ​​Singh, a distant cousin of Misha.
