Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate this new medical college. In this college, 100 students will get a chance to do medical studies (NEET UG Free Admission) for free. While students have to spend lakhs of rupees for medical studies in the country, this college will fulfill their dream of becoming a doctor by providing free medical education to the students.
This college is the Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research of Karnataka. For this, a condition has been kept that all the students who study for free from this college will have to serve in this college hospital for 5 years after completion of their studies. Students will get admission only after agreeing on this.
Talking about the seats, there are a total of 100 seats in this college. Out of this, admission to 50 seats will be done through government quota, while admission to the remaining 50 seats will be done through management quota.
The special thing is that no fee will be charged from the students who get admission in both the quotas. According to the media reports, apart from the college fees, essential things like uniform, books etc. will also be given free of cost. Along with this, the hostel facility will also be given free of cost to the students.
