The rupee is seeing a rise against the dollar in Tuesday’s trading session. Due to this, the rupee is trading at 83.24 with an increase of 4 paise. The market remains cautious due to the ongoing war between Hamas and Israel in the Middle East.

According to Interbank Foreign Exchange, the rupee opened at 83.23 and is trading between 83.23 and 83.25. After this, the rupee has reached 83.24 against the dollar. In this way the rupee against dollar increased by 4 paise today.

Dollar index increased

The dollar index, which shows the strength of the dollar against six currencies of the world, is trading with a slight decline. The dollar index was down 0.02 percent at 106.07 points.

Gaurang Somaiya, Forex and Bullion Analyst, Motilal Oswal Financial Services said that we expect USD-INR (Spot) to remain in a tight range. This range will be in 83.05 and 83.40.

Trading in indian markets

Till the time of writing the news, the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 309.97 points or 0.47 per cent at 65,822.36 and the NSE Nifty was up 94 points or 0.48 per cent at 19,606.35. At the same time, a bullish trend is being seen in global markets also. Japan’s stock market is trading up by about 2.25 percent.

Benchmark Brent crude fell 0.35 percent to $87.84 per barrel. Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers in the stock market on Monday. Shares worth Rs 997.76 crore were sold on his behalf.
