Senior representatives of the current management of GoFirst held detailed discussions with the officials of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on various aspects of the company’s revival. The company tweeted, ‘Go First flights proposed till July 6 have been canceled due to operational reasons.’ The company has applied for immediate resolution and resumption of operations. The company said, ‘We will be able to restore ticket booking soon.’

Discussion on different aspects regarding revival

Earlier, according to the news quoting sources, DGCA (DGCA) will examine the documents of Go First related to the revival plan. Will conduct an audit on preparedness before allowing operations to resume. GoFirst Management discussed various aspects regarding the revival plan with the DGCA officials. GoFirst Airlines, owned by the Wadia family, is undergoing voluntary insolvency proceedings.

Sources in the know of the developments also claimed that the airline’s EY-backed resolution professional Shailendra Ajmera and interim CEO Kaushik Khona presented a detailed presentation to the DGCA on the revival plan .

After completion of the verification of documents in this regard, DGCA will also conduct audit to assess the operational preparedness of the airline. The source claimed that the audit is expected to begin next week.
