CEO Tim Cook had reached Mukesh Ambani’s house in Mumbai and had vada pav with Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit. Tim Cook arrived in India on Monday afternoon as the company prepares to open its first retail store in the country. The Apple BKC store in Mumbai opened its doors for a private event on Monday and will start functioning for the public from Tuesday. He can welcome customers at the iPhone maker’s first store in India today. If reports are to be believed, Cook will also meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi later this week .

Apple’s first retail store to open in Mumbai today

Apple’s Mumbai store will open at 11 am today, while Apple’s Delhi outlet will open for customers at 10 am on April 20. The US tech giant launched its first online store in India in 2020 and was supposed to open a retail store soon after, but could not open due to the Covid pandemic. Now its retail stores are going to open in Mumbai and Delhi.

Rent of retail store will be Rs 42 lakh

iPhone maker Apple’s first store in India is being opened in Mumbai. This store is 20,806 square feet and has been taken on lease for 133 months. Whereas the store being opened in Delhi is smaller than this, but the fare of both is almost the same. It has been told in the report that the rent of the first retail store is Rs 42 lakh.
