Vaikuntha Chaturdashi 2023: Chaturdashi date of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month is known as Vaikuntha Chaturdashi. On this festival, there is a tradition of Hari-Har Milan i.e. formal meeting of Lord Shiva and Vishnu.

Vaikuntha Chaturdashi 2023 Date
Baikuntha Chaturdashi will be celebrated on 25 November 2023. This day is considered sacred for the devotees of Lord Vishnu as well as Lord Shiva, in fact both the deities are worshiped on the same day. Apart from Varanasi, Baikunth Chaturdashi is also celebrated in Rishikesh, Gaya and many cities of Maharashtra.
Vaikuntha Chaturdashi 2023 Muhurat
Chaturdashi tithi of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month will start from 05:22 pm on 25 November 2023. Chaturdashi Tithi will end the next day on 26 November 2023 at 03:53 pm. According to the scriptures, Lord Vishnu is worshiped during Nishita period on Baikuntha Chaturdashi.

This tradition of Belpatra-Tulsi is performed on Vaikuntha Chaturdashi (Vaikuntha Chaturdashi Tradition).
Generally, it is very rare that one gets the auspicious opportunity of worshiping Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu together on the same day, but only on one day in a year, on Vaikuntha Chaturdashi, both Hari-Har are worshiped together. On this day Lord Vishnu offers Tulsi leaves to Lord Shiva and Lord Shiva gives Belpatra to Lord Vishnu in return.
Vaikuntha Chaturdashi Significance
According to Shiv Purana, Lord Shiva gave Sudarshan Chakra to Lord Vishnu on the day of Baikuntha Chaturdashi. On this day both Shiva and Vishnu remain in one form. Those who worship Lord Vishnu with a thousand lotus flowers on this day get a place in heaven.
