Stock Market Holiday: On Tuesday, 15 August, the country is going to celebrate its 77th Independence Day. On the occasion of the 76th anniversary of independence, the country’s stock market is also going to remain closed on the day of National Holiday. National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) will have a holiday tomorrow on account of Independence Day. On this day there will be no work in both the major indexes and after today trading will be done directly in the stock market on Wednesday.

While there will be no trending in the country’s stock market on Independence Day, there will be a holiday for trading in the currency market and on the multi-commodity exchange. According to the website of BSE, there will be no trading in equity segment, equity derivative segment and SLB segment on August 15. Trading will remain closed in both the morning session and the evening session of the commodity market on Tuesday.
