Stock Market Closing On 24th April 2023: The first trading day of the week has been great for the Indian stock market. The BSE Sensex closed at 60056 with a gain of 401 points, while the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty closed at 17,734 points with a jump of 120 points. Earlier, the market was trading in a limited range from morning till afternoon. Once the market also came under the red mark. But buying returned in the market from the lower level. Due to the return of shopping in the afternoon, the market has closed with great speed.

In today’s trade, the shares of Banking, IT, FMCG, Metals, Infra, Consumer Durables and Oil & Gas sectors closed with a boom while the shares of Healthcare, Media, Pharma, Auto sectors closed with a decline. The Midcap and Smallcap indices closed with gains. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 23 closed in green while 7 closed down. Whereas, out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 35 stocks closed with a rise and 15 with a decline.

In today’s trade, Wipro 2.69 per cent, ICICI Bank 2.31 per cent, Titan Company 2.31 per cent, Axis Bank 2.16 per cent, Ultratech Cement 1.08 per cent, HDFC 1.02 per cent, HDFC Bank closed with a gain of 0.88 per cent. So IndusInd Bank closed down by 1.24 per cent, Maruti Suzuki by 1.11 per cent, Sun Pharma by 1 per cent.
Rise in investor wealth
In today’s trading session too, there has been a spectacular jump in the wealth of investors. The market capitalization of the company listed on BSE has increased to Rs 266.33 lakh crore. Which was Rs 264.97 lakh crore in the last trading session. Investors’ wealth has increased by Rs 1.36 lakh crore in today’s session.
