Stock Market Closing: Greening in the market, Sensex climbed more than 300 points above 62300, Nifty closed near 18400

Stock Market Closing: Today the Indian stock market closed on a strong note and Sensex-Nifty have managed to close by going beyond important levels.

Stock Market Closing: Today, trading in the domestic stock market has closed at a brisk pace. Both the major indices of the market have managed to close with tremendous gains. Stock market today did not start with much speed, but Sensex and Nifty remained green in day trading and closing also happened in green zone.

How was the closing of the market

Today, trading in the BSE Sensex closed at the level of 62,345 with a gain of 317.81 points i.e. 0.51 percent. Apart from this, trading has closed at 18,398 with an increase of 84.05 points i.e. 0.46 percent in NSE’s Nifty.

Great move by Bank Nifty

Bank Nifty outperformed the market and today once again touched its all-time high level and returned from there. On December 14, 2022, Bank Nifty touched its all-time high and today once again this index has gone to this level. Today, Bank Nifty touched the level of 44,000 and showed higher levels. Although the pharma sector did not perform well today and its shares have witnessed a downtrend today.

Sensex and Nifty condition

Out of 30 stocks of BSE’s Sensex, 24 stocks rose and trading closed with a decline in only 6 stocks. Apart from this, 33 out of 50 stocks of Nifty of NSE saw a rise and closing with a decline in 17 stocks.

What is the condition of Nifty’s indices?

All the 12 Nifty indices closed today with gains and compared to the morning’s mixed movement, the closing was completely in the green range. Nifty’s realty index showed strong growth today and closed with a gain of 4.32 per cent. A good growth of 2.06 percent has been recorded in media stocks. Business closed today with a gain of 1.14 per cent in FMCG stocks and 1.13 per cent in PSU banks.

Which stocks of Sensex have gained more

Among the gainers in the Sensex, Tata Motors rose 2.94 per cent and Tech Mahindra was up 1.93 per cent. Trading closed with a gain of 1.77 per cent in ITC shares, 1.45 per cent in HUL and 1.14 per cent in L&T. Infosys has managed to close with a gain of 1.06 per cent.
