Stock Market Closing: Brake on continuous decline for three days, but the stock market closed with a slight increase

Share Market Update: The decline in IT sector stocks in the market continued even today. This week has been very disappointing for IT stocks.

Stock Market Closing On 20th April 2023: After three days of continuous decline, the Indian stock market has closed in the green mark in Thursday’s trading session. Although this speed is very minor. Earlier, there was a lot of upheaval in the market throughout the day.

Due to buying in banking stocks, the BSE Sensex closed at 59,632 points with a gain of 64 points, while the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty closed at 17,624 points with a slight gain of 6 points. Sensex was trading 270 and Nifty was trading with a gain of 66 points during the day. But the market came down from those levels.

Condition of the sector

In today’s trade, the shares of Banking, Auto, Energy, Infra, Consumer Durables sector closed with a boom while the shares of IT, Healthcare, Oil & Gas, FMCG, Pharma, Metals sector closed down. The Midcap and Smallcap indices closed with slight gains. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 18 closed with gains and 12 closed with losses. Whereas, out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 26 stocks closed with a rise and 24 with a decline.

Bullish stocks

In today’s trade, Tata Motors closed with a gain of 1.67 per cent, NTPC 1.35 per cent, Asian Paints 1.24 per cent, Bharti Airtel 0.99 per cent, SBI 0.81 per cent and Larsen 0.67 per cent. While HUL closed down by 1.22 per cent, Sun Pharma by 0.81 per cent, Infosys by 0.68 per cent, Bajaj Finance by 0.61 per cent.

Investors’ wealth increased

In today’s trading session also, there has been a slight jump in the decline in the wealth of investors. The market capitalization of the company listed on BSE has increased to Rs 265.40 lakh crore, which was Rs 265.19 lakh crore on Wednesday. That is, in today’s session, there has been a gain of Rs 21000 crore in the wealth of the investors.
