Railway Fare: Fare will not increase on the transformation of railway stations, Railway Minister gave assurance

Railway Fare: Railway has made a plan to redevelop about 1300 stations of the country as ‘Amrit Bharat Stations’, so will the fare of trains also increase after this, know what is the answer of the Railway Minister-

Railway Fare: Under the redevelopment of stations to improve Indian Railways, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has laid the foundation stone of 508 railway stations on Sunday. These stations will be linked with world class facilities.

However, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has assured that railway fares are not going to increase in the name of station redevelopment project. Ashwini Vaishnav said that Rs 25,000 crore would be needed for the redevelopment project of the railways and this would be arranged through the current railway budget.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said in a press conference that PM Modi is working to improve the standard of living of the general public and redevelopment of railway stations is a step being taken in this series. We want to provide facilities of world class stations without any extra burden to the people of the country. The Railway Minister also said that we are neither increasing the rail fares nor imposing any fee like railway redevelopment fee.

Plan to redevelop 1300 major stations as ‘Amrit Bharat Stations’

Railways has made a plan to redevelop about 1300 major stations of the country as ‘Amrit Bharat stations’. On Sunday, Prime Minister Modi has laid the foundation stone of 508 Amrit Bharat stations out of this. 55 such stations will be developed in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan at a cost of about Rs 4,000 crore, 34 stations in Madhya Pradesh at a cost of about Rs 1,000 crore and 44 stations in Maharashtra at a cost of Rs 1,500 crore. Apart from this, many railway stations including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala will be redeveloped.

9000 engineers are being trained

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the railway is training about 9000 engineers to be a part of the station redevelopment project so that they can be made aware of the nuances of the project. This will include analysis of contract documents, architecture, design and security.

On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the railway stations to be redeveloped will also promote the country’s infrastructure, culture and other facts. There are 99 railway stations in Assam, Bihar and Andhra Pradesh in the railway station to be redeveloped.
