There has been a decline in the price of crude oil in the international market. There were indications from the government that soon fuel prices would be fixed on the basis of crude oil.
Petrol and diesel prices in four metros

- Petrol in Kolkata costs Rs 106.03 and diesel costs Rs 92.76.
- Petrol in Chennai costs Rs 102.63 and diesel costs Rs 94.24 per liter
In which cities petrol became cheaper and costlier
Petrol price in Noida and Greater Noida has been reduced by 15 paise to Rs 96.77 per liter and diesel to Rs 89.94 per litre. In Ghaziabad , one liter of petrol is costlier by 24 paise at Rs 96.58 and diesel at Rs 89.75. In Prayagraj , the price of one liter of petrol has increased by 46 paise to Rs 97.41 per liter and diesel has increased by 44 paise to Rs 90.59 per litre.
Fuel prices changed here too
In Jaipur , Rajasthan , the price of petrol has increased by 49 paise to Rs 110.83 per liter and diesel has increased by 45 paise to Rs 95.86 per liter. There has been a change in the price of petrol and diesel in Bihar’s Patna as well. Here one liter of petrol is cheaper by 35 paise at Rs 107.24 and diesel is cheaper by 32 paise at Rs 94.04 per litre.
