A record increase in the number of home buyers has been seen from January to September of the year 2023. Especially there has been a growth of 115 percent in luxury house sales.
Luxury House Sale in India: The purchase of luxury houses has increased rapidly in the year 2023. According to Anarock Research data, there have been more sales in seven cities this year compared to last year. 3.49 lakh units have been sold in 7 cities during the first 9 months of 2023. Out of these, 84,400 are only luxury houses and their price is Rs 1.5 crore.
Whereas in this period of the year 2022, out of the total sales of 2.73 lakh units, 39,300 units of luxury homes were sold. This means that 115 percent more luxury homes have been sold during the months of January to September. Highest sales have taken place in Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Hyderabad.
How many houses were sold and their prices in seven cities
Hyderabad: The highest number of luxury homes have been sold in Hyderabad during the last nine months, which is 260 percent more than last year. 13,630 units have been sold here.
Mumbai Metropolitan Region: A growth of 74 percent has been seen in the sales of luxury houses here, where a total of 36,130 units have been sold this year.
NCR in Delhi : Sales of luxury houses in this region have increased by 119 percent compared to the nine months of 2022. 13,630 houses have been sold in the luxury house segment.
Talking about Pune, the number of luxury houses here has increased by 191 percent annually compared to 2022. A total of 6,850 units have been sold here.
Talking about Bengaluru , there has been a growth of 142 percent in luxury house sales. 9,220 units have been sold in the year 2023.
Sales of luxury houses in Chennai have increased by 143 percent. A total of 3,330 units of luxury houses have been sold here during the nine months of 2023.
Kolkata: Luxury house sales here have increased by 69 percent compared to last year. 1,610 units have been sold in the nine months of 2023 .
