IRCTC Latest News: Indian Railways is continuously taking steps keeping in mind the facilities of the passengers. Semi-high speed train Vande Bharat is being operated continuously by the Railways. Now, in order to make the journey of common passengers comfortable and economical,
it was said by the Railways that non-AC Vande Ordinary train with sleeper and general facility will be started soon. As per the latest update, the non-AC Vande Sadharan trains will be manufactured at ICF Chennai at an estimated cost of 65 crores. Its first rake is expected to arrive by the end of this year.
When will Vande Sadharan train be launched
It was said by the Indian Railways that the first Vande Sadharan train rake is expected to arrive by the end of this year. AC Vande Bharat train equipped with chair car facility is being manufactured at ICF Chennai. Till now this train is running successfully on 23 routes. It costs around Rs 100 crore to prepare a train.
Media reports claimed that the Vande Sadharan train will have a total of 24 LHB coaches and two locomotives.
These facilities will be available in the train
1. Passengers are expected to get modern facility in Vande Sadharan train. Facilities like bio-vacuum toilet, passenger information system and charging point are expected to be available in the train.
2. To enhance the security of passengers, CCTV cameras will be installed in every coach.
3. Vande Ordinary train will be equipped with automatic door system like Vande Bharat Express.
4. This is the first time that the Railways is planning to provide facilities like CCTV cameras, bio-vacuum toilets and automatic door systems in non-such trains.
Fare of Vande Ordinary
Railways has faced criticism regarding the fare of Vande Bharat trains. Normal fare is expected in the newly started Vande Ordinary service. With this, it will be easier than ever for millions of passengers to travel comfortably.
