ICICI Bank will give you a gift! Announced a final dividend of Rs 8 per share to investors

ICICI Bank Q4 Results: ICICI Bank has announced a final dividend of Rs 8 per share to investors along with the fourth quarter results of the financial year 2022-23.

ICICI Bank Announced Dividend: ICICI Bank, one of the country’s largest private banks, announced its fourth quarter results on Saturday and has also announced dividend for investors. ICICI Bank has declared a final dividend of Rs 8 per share on each share of face value of Rs 2. The bank has also given information about the annual banking performance in order to announce its fourth quarter results on Saturday.

ICICI Bank gave information in regulatory filing

ICICI Bank has said in its regulatory filing that the bank’s board has decided to pay a dividend of Rs 8 per share on shares with a face value of Rs 2. Dividend on Equity Shares will be paid after the approval of the shareholders in the Annual General Meeting of the Bank.

How were the results of ICICI Bank

In its results, ICICI Bank has shown a standalone profit of Rs 9,121.87 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2023, which shows an increase of 30 percent on an annual basis. Due to this, ICICI Bank had registered a profit of Rs 7018.71 crore in the same quarter last year. The Net Interest Income (NII) of the bank increased by 24 per cent to Rs 17,666.8 crore as compared to Rs 12,604.6 crore in the same quarter last year.

ICICI Bank’s consolidated net profit has increased by 30 percent to Rs 9,122 crore in the fourth quarter of FY2023. In the same quarter of the previous financial year, the consolidated net profit of ICICI Bank stood at Rs 7018.71 crore.

Significant increase in bank deposits

ICICI Bank said its total deposits grew 10.9 per cent year-on-year to Rs 1,180,841 crore or $143.7 billion and its CASA ratio stood at 43.6 per cent. In the fourth quarter of FY2023 i.e. January-March quarter, its home loan portfolio grew at the rate of 20.5 per cent and its net NPA ratio decreased by 0.48 per cent. In the previous quarter, it was at 0.55 per cent. In this way, the non-performing assets of the bank have also decreased, which can be called a good sign.

In the last trading session i.e. on Friday, the share of ICICI Bank was down by 1.13 per cent at Rs 884.20 on the BSE.
