Monday: Vegetable Upma
Monday should start with a light and healthy breakfast. Upma made from rava (semolina) is light on the stomach and is rich in vegetables and also contains fiber and vitamins.
Ingredients:
1 cup semolina
1 onion, 1 tomato, 1 carrot (finely chopped)
1 green chilli, curry leaves
1 tsp mustard seeds
2 cups water, salt to taste
Method:
Lightly roast the semolina.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and fry the vegetables.
Add water and salt and boil, then add roasted semolina and mix well.
Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes and serve hot.
Tuesday: Oats Poha
