Go First flight service canceled till June 28, Go First flight may resume from July

The airline company Go First, which is facing shortage of cash, has once again decided to cancel its flights. It’s going to be two consecutive months since the company has grounded the flight.

The company had earlier announced cancellation of flights till June 25. The company is scrambling for an immediate resolution and revival of operations.

Troubled airline GoFirst has once again decided to cancel its flights. Now GoFirst has announced the cancellation of its flights till June 28.

Let us tell you that GoFirst has not taken a single flight for almost two months. The company had applied for bankruptcy proceedings in early May.

Booking will start soon

Along with announcing the cancellation of the flight, the company assured the customers to start booking again soon.

The aircraft of this cash-strapped airline have been grounded since May 3. The company had earlier announced cancellation of flights till June 25. Let us tell you that the company is struggling for immediate resolution and revival of operations.

Company can start service from July

Initially, GoFirst had talked about resuming flights by the end of May but now the company is planning to operate 78 daily flights with 22 aircraft from July. However, whether the operations will go as planned by the company is subject to regulatory approval.

Application for bankruptcy proceedings in early May

Let us tell you that GoFirst had applied for voluntary insolvency proceedings in early May and later suspended its flight operations due to mounting losses.

GoFirst cited a delay in the delivery of Pratt & Whitney’s engines, which caused the company to ground a significant number of its flights. At present, the matter of insolvency proceedings of the company is pending before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT).
