All flights are canceled from May 3

DGCA asked to present the revival plan

DGCA has asked the troubled airline company GoFirst to present a detailed revival plan before resuming its operations. The flights of the company facing voluntary insolvency proceedings have been closed since May 3. The source said that on May 24, the DGCA has asked the company to submit a detailed revival plan within 30 days for resumption of operations.

DGCA will review

After this, the DGCA had asked the airline to give information about operable aircraft, pilots and other personnel, care management and funds, among other things. Sources said that after the revival plan is presented by GoFirst, the DGCA will review it for further action.

Reply given in the show cause notice

The airline had replied to the show cause notice sent by DGCA on May 8. According to sources, GoFirst, in its reply, had requested that it be allowed to utilize the moratorium period to prepare a comprehensive restructuring plan to resume operations and then submit it to the DGCA.
