Dollar Vs Rupee : Indian currency continues to decline for 3 consecutive trading sessions, Rupee fell again by so many rupees against the dollar today.

Share Market Today: The rise in dollar and the ongoing decline in the stock market has affected the Indian currency. The rupee is trading with a decline for the third consecutive session. Today, JPY fell by 6 paise to 83.23 against the US dollar in early trade on Thursday.

Forex traders said tensions in Middle East countries, crude oil prices approaching US $ 90 per barrel and large-scale selling by foreign investors have also put pressure on the Indian currency .

Rupee weakened

Today in the interbank foreign exchange market, the local unit opened weak at 83.19 and then touched a low of 83.23. It registers a fall of 6 paise from the previous close. Today is the third day of fall in the rupee.

The rupee fell by 4 paise on Monday in this trading week. After this, it fell by 1 paise on Wednesday. At the same time, foreign exchange markets were closed on Tuesday on the occasion of Dussehra. Yesterday, on Wednesday, the rupee closed at 83.17 against the US dollar.

Meanwhile, the dollar index which reflects the strength of six currencies. According to this, the greenback was trading 0.20 percent higher at 106.75 on Thursday. At the same time, the benchmark Brent crude in the global market fell by 0.31 percent to US $ 89.85 per barrel.

The downward trend continues in the stock market

Even today the stock market is open in the red. The decline in the stock market continues for 6 consecutive days. Today the Sensex fell 478.55 points or 0.75 per cent to 63,570.51, while the Nifty fell 152.15 points or 0.80 per cent to 18,970. According to exchange data, foreign institutional investors sold equities worth Rs 4,236.60 crore on Wednesday.
