Along with this, information has also been given about its causes and symptoms.
What is Dehydration Fever?
When the body temperature of newborns suddenly starts increasing, there may be a problem of dehydration fever. This fever is not caused by any infection, but due to lack of fluid in their body. This problem is most often seen in children who depend only on mother’s milk. When the child is not able to get the required amount of milk, there is a lack of water in his body. This has a direct effect on the body temperature. This can increase the temperature.
What is the reason?
There can be many reasons behind this. Either the child is not able to get the right amount of milk from the mother’s breast. Sometimes it takes some time for the mother’s milk to be produced, due to which the baby gets less milk in the beginning. Another reason is the hot and humid weather. Any health problem of the baby can also cause him trouble in drinking or digesting milk, due to which the risk of dehydration increases further.
