Dearness Allowance Hike News: Employees and pensioners working under the Fifth Pay Commission in Rajasthan will get increased Dearness Allowance (DA) from January 2023. According to an official statement, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal in this regard. According to the proposal, an increase in the rate of dearness allowance has been approved for state employees and pensioners working under the Fifth Pay Commission and Rajasthan Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 1998.
According to the statement, from January 1, 2023, the rate of dearness allowance to such state employees and pensioners will increase from 396 percent to 412 percent. The amount from January, 2023 to March, 2023 will be deposited in the General Provident Fund account of the concerned employees.
While the pensioners will get the increased dearness allowance in cash. For this, Chief Minister Gehlot has approved the proposal of the Finance Department. It has been said in the statement that this decision of the Chief Minister will benefit the workers and pensioners working under the Fifth Pay Commission.
Let us inform that earlier in October, 2022, the Gehlot government of Rajasthan had revised the rates of dearness allowance of the state employees working under the 5th and 6th Pay Commission. Then it was 381 percent, which was increased to 396. Dearness Allowance was increased from 203 to 212 percent under the 6th Pay Commission. Now the increase has been done in the 5th Pay Commission.
Chhattisgarh government has increased Dearness Allowance
Today the Chhattisgarh government has given good news to its government employees. The Congress government there on Thursday increased the Dearness Allowance (DA) for the employees of the state by five percent. DA has now become 38 percent in the state. This decision will benefit about 3.80 lakh employees of the state. Apart from this, the state government has reduced the eligibility period for full pension from 33 years to 30 years. Also, the period of service for voluntary retirement has been reduced from 20 years to 17 years.
