Bholaa Review: ‘Kathy’ pales in front of ‘Bhola’, overdose of action… but Ajay Devgan’s film is worth the money

Bholaa Film Review: On Ram Navami, Ajay Devgn has brought a remake of another superhit South film for the fans. Through ‘Bhola’, Ajay Devgan has again made a tremendous knock in the theaters and has impressed the youth by becoming symbolic of Shiva. He has dedicated this film to the devotees of Shiva.

Mumbai: Last year, more than half a dozen remake films were released. Especially Ajay Devgn brought many remake films of South in the last few days. The crime thriller Drishyam 2, directed by Abhishek Pathak, is also a remake of the Malayalam film of the same name, in which Mohanlal appeared in the lead role. After ‘Drishyam 2’, Ajay Devgan has once again come up with a new remake, titled ‘Bholaa’. The actor has dedicated this film to the devotees of Shiva. Anyway, Ajay Devgan’s love for Shiva is well known.

Now once again Ajay Devgan has expressed his devotion towards Shiva through ‘Bhola’, which is a remake of Tamil film ‘Kaithi’. Kaithi is a Tamil word, which means ‘prisoner’. This film was released in 2019. Let us tell you how entertaining the action-packed Ajay Devgan’s ‘Bhola’ is.

Along with acting in the direction ‘Bhola’, Ajay Devgan himself has taken over the responsibility of direction. While the rest of the stars are reposing more faith in the remake of Hollywood films, there are some stars who have reposed faith in South’s remake. One of them is Ajay Devgan, who has appeared in remakes of many South Indian films in the last few years. Now he has given a dose of entertainment to the audience through the remake of the famous Tamil film Kaithi.

However, at some places Ajay was seen missing in giving the right dose. However, in front of Karthi, Arjun Das and Monica starrer ‘Kaithi’, ‘Bhola’ shines brighter. But, still the story of the film revolving around the emotional concept gets limited to drama and action.

Bhola’s confrontation with 100 goons alone does not seem logical. However, these scenes are very much liked in South films. The theater starts echoing with applause and whistles, but such scenes become a bit strange for the audience of Hindi films. Whereas in Bhola, from the first half till the climax, bikes and trucks are seen waving in the air.

But, for action lovers, this film can be a tremendous entertainment from Ajay Devgan. Apart from this, with the entry of a star as the film has been ended, it is bound to increase the excitement of the audience for the next part of the film.

The story

of Bhola begins with the release of Bhola (Ajay Devgan) , who, while in jail, learns that he also has a daughter, who is living in an orphanage in Lucknow. As soon as he comes out of jail, Bhola starts searching for his daughter.

On the other side is SP Diana Joseph (Tabu) , who intercepts the consignment of drug smuggling of a big gang and hides it in a secret place in the police station. Aswathama (Deepak Dobriyal), who kills Diana to get back the goods, gets a tip from a police inspector (Gajraj Rao).

To kill Diana, Aswathama mixes something in the drink of the partying police force, due to which everyone faints one by one and their lives are in danger. In such a situation, Diana takes the responsibility of taking everyone to the hospital.

Diana, who is now fighting the drug mafia and Bhola, who is looking for his daughter, how do they connect, what happens to the seized goods, whether the police officers escape and whether Bhola gets his daughter or not, it’s all up to watch and find out. For that you can go to the nearest theatre.

Music and Technical

Bhola has a story of one night and cinematographer Aseem Bajaj has done a tremendous job to bring the story of this whole night on the big screen in a tremendous way. Watching action scenes in close-up is a treat. Especially during the Ganga Aarti, the entire Banaras was shown through a drone and the effort put in beautifying every scene can be clearly seen.

But, the biggest weakness of the film is its background music, which becomes so loud at many places that even the clarity of the dialogue is not available. Let me tell you, due to technical glitch, the clarity of the dialogue was not at all, in such a situation, work was done on its sound overnight and a new print has been prepared.
