Airports Leased to Anil Ambani: Anil Ambani’s difficulties are not taking the name of being reduced. The Maharashtra government is considering taking back the five airports leased to the Anil Ambani Group. The government may take this step due to poor maintenance of the company and non-payment of dues.
Before this, Anil Ambani’s Reliance Capital is facing the bankruptcy process. Reliance Capital had submitted an application to the NCLT for a resolution plan for IndusInd International Holdings Limited (IIHL), the investment arm of the Hinduja Group.
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis said the company did not maintain the airports nor paid the dues. He said that we will consult the Advocate General of the state whether we can take charge of the airports by paying the dues and later taking them back from the company.
