New record of domestic market
Talking about the domestic market, both the major indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty again set a new record today. BSE’s 30-share Sensex closed at 66,590 points with a gain of 529 points, or 0.80 percent.
The Nifty also closed at 19,711 points with an increase of about 150 points, or 0.75 per cent. This is the new closing high level of both the indices. Both also created a new all-time high level during the trade.
