2000 Rupees Note Exchange : After SBI, now PNB issued guidelines regarding Rs 2000 note, no need to do this work

2000 Rupees Note Exchange: After the country’s main bank SBI, PNB has issued a guideline regarding 2 thousand rupees. You do not need to provide Aadhaar, PAN or any other document.

PNB Note Exchange Guideline: After SBI, now Punjab National Bank has issued a guideline for depositing Rs 2,000 notes. If you are also going to change 2000 rupee notes at PNB or SBI bank branches, then you should know some things.

Punjab National Bank said that to change the 2000 rupee note, you do not need to have Aadhaar card, officially verified document and fill any form. The bank has informed all the branches about this. The PNB official has given this information when fake news of personal information was coming to exchange notes. The bank said that only Rs 2000 note can be deposited in the bank without any documents.

SBI also gave information

It is getting viral on social media that to change 2000 rupee note, along with Aadhaar card, form will be required to be filled. On this, SBI issued a guideline saying that people will not need to fill any documents like Aadhaar card, PAN card or any form to change two thousand rupee notes. You can exchange or deposit the notes by visiting any branch.

How did the confusion arise

Old forms for the transaction of Rs 2,000 notes were going viral on social media. In this situation confusion arose among the people. However, after the information of RBI, it was clarified that there is no need to fill any documents and forms. After this SBI and now PNB has clarified this.

PAN and Aadhaar card on amount more than 50 thousand

According to RBI, you can deposit 10 notes of 2000 rupees i.e. 20 thousand rupees at a time. If you deposit more than this amount, then according to the rules, the bank will have to show PAN and Aadhaar card.
